Hurricane Policy

As we are in the midst of hurricane season (and in light of the recent heightened activity), please be aware of the following procedures…

All cancellations for during-the-week-events will follow the Palm Beach County Public School System plans. If they cancel, we’ll cancel. If they don’t, we won’t. Please tune in to major media outlets to follow their plans.

For weekend events, we will communicate cancellations through Sunday School classes (via phone calls) as well as make announcements through our website (www.firstbaptistlw.org) and local television and radio stations. Please note that we will not make announcements about being “open” – only cancellations. (Following the “no news is good news” philosophy.)
