Jesus taught His followers lots of lessons, but one of the last things He taught them was to serve one another (John 13). Jesus gave us the ultimate example of what it means to lead others and follow Him – and that is to serve each other.
We believe that God has given every believer a unique set of gifts and abilities to use for the building up of the Body of Christ. We call those spiritual gifts. And just like any other gift, it doesn't do much good if it's not opened and being used.
We encourage people to discover their gifts and passions and look at their personality and life experiences to see where God might have them serve in the life of the church. And remember – the life of the church includes ministries on our campus and being salt and light in the community.
God's gifts are not limited to a Sunday school room, or a worship platform, or a soup kitchen; but they are good for the classroom, the board room, the bank, the grocery store and everything in between.
We just want to help you find that gift. Open it. Use it. And follow the example of Christ by serving one another.
