The idea of love is at the root of all that Jesus taught. The two greatest commandment are to “love God” and “love others” - everything else hangs on those. Jesus taught His disciples to love one another and reminded them that their love would show the world of their relationship with Him.

For us today not much is different. Love is still a critical part of being a Christ follower. You cannot say you follow Christ and not have love in your heart. That is why we believe a marker of a true Christ follower is our love – our love for God and our love for others.

Our love for God is manifested in worship. Anything we give value to is what we worship. So when we gather together for corporate worship – we seek to give glory and honor to God and nothing or no one else. When we encourage people to have their one-on-one time with the Lord, it's so that their love relationship with Him might grow and deepen.

But the world is watching to see if we love one another, too. We seek to fulfill the second part of that by loving one another. During our services we give specific time to build fellowship and encourage one another. We offer prayer and support to those who need it. We have men's and women's fellowship groups to help meet those needs as well as Sunday school and other fellowship events.

Faith, hope and love will all endure, but the greatest of these is love...
