Music and Worship
The Music & Worship Ministry at First Baptist Church Of Lake Worth is a community of musicians with a desire to spread God’s glory broader and deeper through corporate worship. Here at FBC, we realize that the forms of worship may change and vary, yet the essence of worship will always remain constant. All true worship begins and ends with God Himself.
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36 ESV)
We desire to serve the body here at FBC with music that is in spirit (sincere, heartfelt, emotional, passionate) and in truth (Christ centered, biblical theological, confessional). According to the Scriptures, this is the kind of worship in which God brings glory to His Son (John 4:20-26). The apostle Paul puts it this way: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16 ESV). The various music ministries at FBC continually aim toward excellence in our music and service, striving to grow spiritually, musically, and in our fellowship with one another, all in an effort to serve Christ’s church and bring Him the glory due His name.
Each area of service in the Music & Worship Ministry is equally valuable to the body here at FBC. While some are more visible than others, all function in a vital way to the service of God’s people here at this fellowship. Our Music & Worship Ministry includes adults, students and children and various other places of service.
