Community and Outreach

We believe in reaching our immediate community and we have a lot of different avenues to do that.

Outreach Events
We use periodic events on campus to build relationships with the people in our community so that we might share Christ with them.

Some of those ministries include:
Block Parties
Seasonal Parties (Trunk-or-Treat, Easter Egg Hunt)
Seasonal Music Productions (Christmas, Easter)
Annual Events (VBS)

Out and About
We also get off of our campus on occasion to reach out.

Some of those ministries include:
Door-To-Door Invitations
Cook-outs in the Park (during the Summer)
Water Distribution (during the Street Painting Festival)

Partnerships
We work with local groups to build relationships, too.

Some of those ministry opportunities include:
Volunteer work at local elementary schools
Neighborhood beautification (trash pick up, landscaping, etc.)
Habitat for Humanity
Host for City of Lake Worth events

Meeting Needs
We also recognize the many needs in our community and work to help meet those needs.

Some of those ministries include:
Free lunch for the homeless every Thursday
Food pantry for people in crisis
Free health clinics (periodic)

We believe God put First Baptist Church in this specific community for a reason – to bring God's love to the people who live and work here. If you'd like more information in how you can be a part of these outreach opportunities, contact
