Now What?

What a
great Easter celebration we experienced yesterday! We
are so blessed to be a part of this church family.
And a special ‘thank you’ to so many of you who
invited your friends, co-workers, and family
to join us
for worship.
But yesterday was just the next step…
Investing in a relationship goes beyond the “invite.” Maybe you were able to get someone to come to church with you who hadn’t been in a very long time. Or maybe someone came with you for the first time. And for some, you asked (and maybe even got a commitment) but they didn’t show up.
Regardless, the investment has to continue. We can’t just pour into others to get them to come to church one time. We invest in others and give our lives to them to help them to become Christ followers who love, grow, and serve. The apostle Paul teaches us that we are to continue that process until we reach perfection (Eph. 4) which really doesn’t happen until we receive our glorified bodies.
So keep on investing. Keep on inviting. Continue to be faithful in building relationships and developing Christ followers.
This Sunday we’ll be starting a new sermon series… I’m excited about it and hope you will be too. Also, don’t forget that we are meeting on Wednesday nights for prayer meeting – it’s a refreshing and sweet time.
April and May will take some of our momentum to a new level, so be on the look-out for opportunities to be involved!
